Deepti Krishnamurthy, has been elevated to the role of Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer – Consumer Banking at DBS Bank India, marking a significant step in her distinguished career in banking and financial services. With more than two decades of experience across operational risk, regulatory compliance, internal audit, governance, and anti-financial crime, she brings deep domain expertise and leadership to one of India’s leading banking institutions.


In her elevated role, Deepti will be responsible for strengthening operational resilience, ensuring regulatory adherence, and enhancing end-to-end control frameworks within the Consumer Banking business. Her leadership will support strategic execution in an increasingly digital and rapidly evolving banking environment, enabling the organization to maintain robust governance while driving growth and innovation.


Prior to this appointment, Deepti served as Senior Vice President at DBS Bank India, where she led institutional banking audits covering critical areas such as credit processes, global transaction banking, trade, custody, and priority sector lending. Her work played an important role in reinforcing governance and audit standards across complex banking operations.


Earlier in her career, Deepti held key leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, where she led cross-divisional audits across operations, anti-financial crime, and regulatory compliance. She has also contributed significantly to operational risk and audit frameworks at RBL Bank, Citibank India, and Yes Bank, strengthening AML monitoring, governance, and internal control programs across diverse banking environments.


With her strong risk-governance background and proven leadership across global banking ecosystems, Deepti is well positioned to further strengthen control frameworks and enable compliant growth at DBS Bank India, shaping the next phase of operational excellence within its Consumer Banking business.
