Dan Raj has been appointed as the Head of Sales Development – India at Snowflake. With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience across Sales, Inside Sales, and Sales Development, Dan is recognized as a strategic growth leader who builds scalable revenue engines, drives GTM transformation, and develops high-performing teams to deliver measurable business impact.


Prior to this, Dan served as Senior Manager, Sales Development for India and Japan at Zscaler, where he built the Sales Development organization from the ground up. He introduced new success metrics focused on pipeline progression and ACV impact, implemented scalable processes, and launched both inbound and outbound growth engines that elevated SDR performance to global standards. Dan also pioneered the ‘Partner-Led SDR Motion,’ integrating Sales Development with the Channel ecosystem to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate partner-influenced pipeline creation.


Widely recognized for his ability to develop talent and lead large, high-performing teams, Dan has mentored emerging leaders and established a culture of accountability, innovation, and measurable execution. His leadership philosophy emphasizes empowering SDRs to think like sellers while driving alignment with organizational revenue objectives.


Before joining Zscaler, Dan held leadership and growth roles at Innovaccer, Adobe, and Dell, contributing to global inside sales transformation, GTM process design, and strategic demand generation initiatives that strengthened organizational revenue capabilities.


At Snowflake, Dan will serve as a Line 2 leader, responsible for defining and executing India’s Sales Development strategy, embedding data-driven performance management, and scaling the SDR organization to support high-velocity pipeline creation. He will align SDR motions with GTM strategy, lead talent development programs to build future-ready sellers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize partner, inbound, and outbound revenue contributions.


This appointment reflects Snowflake’s continued investment in strengthening its India GTM engine and leadership bench, reinforcing its commitment to scalable growth, innovation, and customer success across the region.
