Newfangled Vision Pvt. Ltd., a five-year-old enterprise GenAI startup, has announced the appointment of Vishal K Sinha as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Vishal brings close to two decades of hands-on experience in building, scaling, and operationalising large-scale data, analytics, and AI platforms for enterprises. Prior to joining Newfangled Vision, he served as Head of Data, AI & Analytics at Reliance Jio, where he played a pivotal role in building a nation-scale big data platform managing over 50 petabytes of data and processing nearly one petabyte of data daily, enabling real-time, mission-critical analytics across one of the world’s largest digital ecosystems.
Earlier in his career, Vishal held key technical and consulting roles at KPIT, Lazard, Agilis International, R Systems, and the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India. Across these organizations, he led high-impact data engineering initiatives, implemented large-scale data warehouse and cloud solutions, and supported go-to-market strategies for enterprise big data platforms across India and the United States.
Throughout his career, Vishal has consistently worked at the intersection of scale, security, and business impact, building platforms that are robust, cost-efficient, and designed for real-world enterprise adoption.
At Newfangled Vision, Vishal’s execution-led leadership will further strengthen the company’s mission to build a Private Enterprise GenAI platform from India—designed to ensure that client data never moves outside their own infrastructure and can run efficiently on minimal hardware, without reliance on large cloud or GPU-heavy environments.
His appointment marks a strategic milestone for Newfangled Vision as the company deepens its focus on data sovereignty, enterprise-grade security, and scalable GenAI innovation for regulated and data-sensitive industries.
