Monika Potharkar Joins Medline India as Senior Vice President.

Monika Potharkar has joined Medline India as Senior Vice President, bringing more than 29 years of experience in global finance and leadership of capability centers across consumer products and banking. She previously served as Sr. Director Finance and Site Lead for General Mills India, where she successfully led multi-functional teams and scaled business capabilities to drive organizational excellence.


At Medline, Monika will focus on driving growth and innovation from India in alignment with Medline’s mission to make healthcare run better. She brings deep expertise in finance, building and scaling global capabilities, and integrating human capital practices with business outcomes. Known as a people-focused leader, Monika has a strong track record in human capital strategy, organizational transformations, and fostering innovation, leadership development, and an agile workforce.


Before joining Medline, she spearheaded finance operations at General Mills India, driving key capabilities in Financial Operations & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analytics, and Risk & Compliance Management. As Site Lead for the General Mills Capability Center in India, she scaled the center’s operations and drove cross-functional innovation across Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, Consumer Insights, and IT Quality functions.


Throughout her career, Monika has demonstrated an ability to deliver measurable business impact while cultivating high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement. Her strategic vision, operational expertise, and leadership in building agile, capable workforces position her to contribute significantly to Medline’s global growth initiatives.
