Pratap Chandra Panda Joins IAC Electricals as Chief Human Resources Officer

Pratap Chandra Panda has taken on a new leadership role as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at IAC Electricals, based in Kolkata. With over 22 years of extensive HR leadership experience across manufacturing, steel and mining, R&D, FMCG, and services industries, he brings a wealth of knowledge in building high-performing teams and driving strategic human resource initiatives. At IAC Electricals, Pratap will be spearheading workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development to strengthen the company’s HR framework.
Prior to joining IAC Electricals, Pratap served as Head HR at Thriveni EarthMovers Pvt. Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in HR transformation, strategic workforce planning, and industrial relations. His previous roles also include Regional HR Head at Kurlon Enterprise Limited and multiple leadership positions in HR and IR at Thriveni EarthMovers, Misrilall Mines, Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd. (FACOR), PJ Minerals International, and Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited. Starting his career in talent acquisition at Career Plan, Pratap steadily built a reputation as a trusted HR leader capable of driving change and fostering employee-centric cultures.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, Pratap is recognized for his agile leadership style and ability to align business needs with innovative people solutions.
