Ms. Sowmya Prakash has joined Godrej Properties Limited as Zonal Head – Design & Strategy, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career spanning over 27 years in the real estate industry.


In this strategic leadership role, Ms. Sowmya Prakash will be responsible for driving the design vision and strategy across the region, leading cross-functional collaboration, and delivering innovative, sustainable, and customer-centric spaces that align with Godrej Properties’ long-term business objectives.


With deep expertise in architecture, design management, feasibility analysis, project management, and value engineering, Sowmya has successfully delivered high-impact design solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Her career includes senior leadership roles at some of India’s most respected real estate organizations, including Puravankara Group (Provident Housing Ltd), Mantri Developers, Sattva Group, DLF, and TSI Ventures.


Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Head of Design at Puravankara Group, where she spent over six years driving transformative design initiatives that combined innovation, sustainability, and customer delight. Reflecting on her design philosophy, Sowmya shares:
