Abhay Inamdar has joined Immacule Lifesciences as Vice President – Projects & Engineering, bringing over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, he will oversee large-scale engineering projects, ensure global regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives in digitisation, automation, and sustainable operations across Immacule and Acme sites. With a strong background in greenfield and brownfield projects, he has successfully implemented advanced engineering practices aligned with international standards. Abhay’s leadership journey includes senior roles at Akums, Amneal, Dr. Reddy’s, Actavis (Teva), Ranbaxy, and Wockhardt, where he played a key role in enhancing engineering capabilities, compliance readiness, and operational efficiency.


His expertise spans design engineering and facility setup for complex injectables, oncology, biosimilars (DS & DP), OSD, and API domains, ensuring adherence to stringent global regulations. Throughout his career, he has championed lean manufacturing, energy optimisation, and digital transformation, consistently driving engineering excellence.
