Vishal Akhauri Joins Lazer India as CEO & Senior Business Leader

Vishal Akhauri has joined Lazer India as CEO & Senior Business Leader, bringing with him over two decades of leadership experience in sales, marketing, and business development across India’s consumer durables and electrical industry. In his new role, he will be driving growth strategies and spearheading business initiatives to strengthen Lazer India’s position in the fast-evolving home appliances and electrical solutions market.


Prior to this, Vishal served as Vice President – Business Development at Surya Roshni, where he led multiple categories including fans, home appliances, and pumps, driving transformation and operational excellence. Before Surya, he was associated with Sujata as Head of Sales and Marketing, overseeing strategy, market expansion, and brand positioning.


A significant part of Vishal’s career was with Havells India, where he worked for more than eight years in leadership roles including Joint Vice President and General Manager. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in managing pan-India sales and marketing, launching new business lines, and strengthening brand presence in competitive markets. He also brings extensive experience from his earlier leadership stints at Bajaj Electricals and Usha International, where he consistently delivered strong business results and built high-performing teams.


With a career spanning over 27 years, Vishal Akhauri is widely recognized for his ability to blend strategic foresight with execution excellence. His appointment at Lazer India reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its market footprint by leveraging his proven expertise in business transformation, category management, and customer engagement.
