Amit Jain Joins Axis Finance as Head of Products – Retail Asset & MSME

Amit Jain has joined Axis Finance as Head of Products – Retail Assets & MSME, bringing with him nearly two decades of expertise in banking, lending, distribution and digital transformation. In his new role, Amit will spearhead product strategy, drive innovation, and lead initiatives aimed at strengthening Axis Finance’s MSME and Retail offerings.


An accomplished business leader, Amit has demonstrated excellence across building business, P&L management, strategy formulation, product development, and overall business leadership. His deep understanding of the financial sector and digital transformation will be instrumental in advancing Axis Finance’s goals of delivering innovative and customer-centric financial solutions.


Prior to joining Axis Finance, Amit served as Business Head – MSME at YES Bank, where he led key initiatives to enhance MSME lending and expand market reach. He also held the position of Product Head – Emerging Enterprises Group (MSME) at HDFC Bank and began his career as an Associate at Raman Jain & Associates, building a strong foundation in finance and business operations.


Amit is a Chartered Accountant & qualified lawyer, having specialized in Accounting, Finance & Law. This strong educational background has underpinned his leadership journey in the banking and financial services sector, enabling him to combine technical expertise with strategic vision.


In his new role at Axis Finance, Amit is set to leverage his rich experience to drive product innovation, strengthen Retail Asset & MSME portfolios, and contribute to the organization’s growth trajectory in the competitive financial services landscape.
