Vikram G Joins ZEISS India Medical Technology as Head of Business Development, Marketing, and More

Vikram G has taken on the role of Head of Business Development, Marketing, Applications, and Product Management – Ophthalmology at ZEISS India Medical Technology. In addition to this leadership role, Vikram will also be responsible for Learning & Development (L&D), Market Access, Quality & Regulatory (Q&R), and Zeiss Academy initiatives for the Medical Technology division (MED), reinforcing ZEISS’s commitment to driving excellence and innovation in the healthcare landscape.
Vikram brings with him over 20 years of deep-rooted expertise in healthcare, medical devices, and diagnostics, with a proven track record of spearheading business transformation and market expansion across India and South Asia. His multifaceted leadership spans P&L ownership, strategic planning, and execution, making him a valuable addition to ZEISS’s growing leadership team.
Prior to joining ZEISS, Vikram held key positions across globally recognized healthcare organizations. He served as Business Unit Head at QuidelOrtho, General Manager – India at MicroSurgical Technology, and Sales Manager at BD. He also played a significant role at Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Surgery as Manager Sales – India for Acclarent. Across these roles, Vikram has consistently demonstrated an ability to launch innovative solutions, nurture high-performing teams, and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
