Protean eGov Technologies Ltd. (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd.), a pioneer in building Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and delivering population-scale e-Governance solutions, has announced the appointment of Ranbheer Singh Dhariwal as Group Head – Social Security & Welfare (GH-SSW). This key leadership appointment reinforces Protean’s commitment to strengthening its Social Security & Welfare vertical as it continues to scale its Central Recordkeeping Agency (CRA) operations for NPS, APY, and UPS. Ranbheer will serve as the CRA Head & Principal Officer under PFRDA regulations, leading the growth strategy, product development, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance for this crucial segment.
Ranbheer Singh Dhariwal brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience spanning pension fund management, insurance, and BPO services. He was most recently the Chief Executive Officer at Max Life Pension Fund Management Ltd, where he was instrumental in driving growth, operational efficiencies, and customer-centric strategies in the pension domain. Prior to this, Ranbheer held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President & Head – Retirement, NPS Annuity & Funds, Policy Loans, and QROPS at HDFC Life, and Head of Direct Marketing and Online Sales at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited. His earlier experience also includes pivotal roles at HDFC Life, ICICI Lombard, and GTL Limited, where he honed his expertise in operations, customer acquisition, and strategic growth.
Ranbheer Singh Dhariwal holds an Executive MBA in Finance from Welingkar Institute of Management, equipping him with a strong foundation in financial management and strategic leadership. His core competencies include Account Management, Sales and Marketing, Strategic Planning, Forecasting, P&L Management, Campaign Management, Operations, and Quality Improvement Tools. A seasoned leader with a passion for driving operational excellence, Ranbheer is known for his ability to design customer-centric solutions, streamline processes, and deliver impactful growth outcomes in highly regulated industries.
